Description
We can’t help how we feel but we can help what we do. Often well meaning, albeit short sighted, people tell us we shouldn’t feel what we are feeling. This often intensifies the feeling itself. By trying not to think about something we can’t help but keep it on our mind. We can’t help how we feel but we can challenge our feelings with objectivity and clear thoughts. This takes work as strong emotions often seem to want to take on a life of their own. Often however decisions made from strong intense emotions lead to regret. Emotions aren’t wrong in themselves, they just don’t need to dominate or overrule objectivity when it comes to making decisions.
